Über mich

Hi my name is Nataliya. I am a teacher of Polish, I have been teaching Polish as a foreign language. I work as a Polish language teacher at the Linguistic University. I run grammar and Polish culture classes for students of "Polish Studies". I teach Polish to adults, youth and children from level A1 to more advanced.
When I was learning Polish at the University of Warsaw, I did not know that I would be teaching others. I wanted to conduct research for the completion of my habilitation thesis on the subject of "Political and socio-political changes in Poland in the 1990s", read books, have speeches at conferences, but I fell in love with this beautiful language and country full of surprises. I understood that I want to teach and I can teach others.

Ausbildung und Erfahrung

I studied Polish for a long time and I am still learning. In 2020, I completed postgraduate studies "Polish language teaching" at the University of Warsaw. Before that, I studied the language at the annual language course at the University of Warsaw (2008) and during various internships and scholarships: at the University of Warsaw - scholarship of K. Skubiszewski in 2017, at the Jagiellonian University - scholarships named after Queen Jadwiga in 2017, at the University of Silesia and the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn as part of the scholarship I.Wygowski, 2016. In the summer of 2019, 2020, 2021, I took part in summer language courses for Polish language teachers working in educational centers abroad, organized by SJKP UŚ.

Lehrmethoden

I am convinced that people learn the fastest and most effectively when they are interested in something. In this respect, I always ask my students exactly what they are interested in, then I use it when preparing various exercises. I love Polish movies, that's why I use various videos and other authentic materials from the beginner levels.
