My name is Ania, and I have been teaching foreign languages for over 27 years. I graduated from the Teacher Training College of Foreign Languages in Kraków and completed my degree in German Studies at the Jagiellonian University. Since the beginning of my professional career, I have worked as a qualified foreign language teacher.

I started my career as a teacher of German. After moving to the Netherlands, I expanded my teaching experience to include Polish as a foreign language and Dutch as a foreign language.

I come from Kraków, a city I know very well and to which I still feel deeply connected. I currently live in the Netherlands and mainly teach online.

Working with language learners on a daily basis has given me a deep understanding of the challenges my students face. I have experienced the process of learning foreign languages myself. First, I studied German, and after moving to the Netherlands, I learned Dutch from scratch. I also continue to improve my French and Spanish, and I use English in my daily work. Thanks to this personal experience, I understand how much time, patience, consistency, and dedication it takes to learn a new language, as well as the difficulties learners may encounter at different stages of their language journey.

During my lessons, I aim to create a friendly, supportive, and motivating atmosphere where students feel comfortable learning without stress. My main goal is to encourage students to speak Polish as much as possible and gradually build their confidence in using the language. Whenever necessary, I can also explain more difficult grammar points or language issues in German, Dutch, or English.

I am a qualified foreign language teacher and a teacher of Polish as a foreign language. For more than 27 years, I have been teaching students of different ages and at all levels of proficiency.

I am also a sworn translator of Polish and Dutch, as well as a teacher of German. I gained my teaching experience first in Kraków and now in the Netherlands. This international experience has given me a thorough understanding of the needs of people learning Polish while living abroad, as well as the specific challenges of learning a language in a multilingual environment.

I tailor every lesson to my students' individual needs, goals, and learning pace. During my classes, I primarily use the learning materials available on the e-Polish platform, which provide an excellent foundation for learning Polish as a foreign language. Whenever needed, I supplement them with additional exercises, authentic materials, audio recordings, and my own teaching resources to best match each student's interests and learning objectives.

My lessons focus mainly on communication and the practical use of the language. I encourage my students to speak Polish as much as possible from the very beginning, helping them gradually build confidence and fluency. The learning programme is always adapted to individual goals, whether you are learning Polish for everyday communication, work, studies, an exam, or simply for personal interest.

I strive to create a friendly, supportive, and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable and confident. I believe that the best results come when learning is both enjoyable and rewarding, allowing students to see steady progress and stay motivated throughout their language-learning journey.
