My name is Ania, and I’m a teacher of Polish as a foreign language.

If you live in Poland and understand more than you can say, feel stressed when talking to an official, a doctor, or even your neighbour, or simply want to start speaking Polish without constantly translating sentences in your head, I’d be happy to help.

In my lessons, I focus on a relaxed atmosphere, practical communication, and materials tailored to your individual needs. I believe that learning a language can be both effective and enjoyable.

I graduated in Russian Philology and completed postgraduate studies in Teaching Polish as a Foreign Language at the Jagiellonian University. For almost ten years, I’ve been teaching Polish to students from all over the world, and I still believe it’s the best job I could have dreamed of. For me, teaching is not only about sharing knowledge of the Polish language, Poland, and Polish culture, but also about meeting inspiring people, learning about their stories, cultures, and perspectives on the world.

I teach general Polish from complete beginner (A0) to advanced (C1), and I prepare students for the official Polish State Certificate Examination at levels B1–C1. My students successfully pass the exam and achieve their goals, whether they want to study, work, live in Poland, or simply communicate confidently in Polish.

I’m also the creator of the educational podcast “Uczmy się! – Polish for Foreigners”, available on Spotify and YouTube.

Les méthodes d'enseignement

During my lessons, I use Polish almost exclusively. From the very first class, Polish is our main language of communication. I use English or Russian only in exceptional situations, when a brief explanation is necessary to help clarify a particular concept.

In my teaching, I work with carefully selected Polish language textbooks, including the Polski, krok po kroku and Hurra!!! Po polsku series, as well as my own teaching materials created to meet the needs of individual students and groups. I also use other high-quality resources designed for teaching Polish as a foreign language.

My lessons are based on the communicative approach. We develop all four language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—while also improving grammar, vocabulary, and accuracy. I place particular emphasis on using Polish in real-life situations and helping students communicate naturally and confidently.
