malwinaflower 2011-04-10 18:41 | The nouns which can be only plural are called "pluralia tantum", e.g sanki - sledge, ludzie - people, majtki - panties, wrota - gate, ferie - winter holidays, chrzciny - baptism, Andrzejki - St Andrew's day, grabie - rake, but also many names of towns or mountain ranges e.g. Katowice, Ateny, Helsinki, Tatry, Beskidy etc. |
