Je me présente

Hi! My name's Zuzanna and I'm passionate about both learning and teaching languages. I grew up surrounded by dictionaries and books in English and then turned my hobby into a career as an ESL teacher and translator. Then I thought, hey - maybe I could also help foreigners who want to learn Polish? And here I am. If you're looking for an experienced tutor who can help you hone your conversation skills, I'll be happy to support you in your learning journey!
I'm a native speaker of Polish, I speak fluent English, and intermediate level French and Swedish.

Compétentes et expérience

I studied English at WSL in Częstochowa, then at UWr. I have worked as a private tutor and class tutor for 15 years. I have experience both teaching and learning languages and I keep expanding my teaching skills.

Les méthodes d'enseignement

I offer conversation classes, so my lessons are going to be heavily focused on speaking, with additional (and optional) listening or vocab exercises. In my personal experience as a learner of languages, I have observed that listening to podcasts or the radio is very helpful in learning the melody of the language and mastering more natural-sounding pronunciation. But whether or not we do listening comprehension exercises is entirely up to the student and depends on their preferences and needs.

Próbowałem uczyć się kilku języków online, ale szybko się zniechęcałem, bo albo kurs był za bardzo komunikacyjny, albo też za bardzo ‘tradycyjny’. Polskiego nie miałem możliwości uczyć się inaczej jak tylko online, więc bez przekonania, ale zarejestrowałem się na kurs na e-polish.eu. Ku mojemu zdziwieniu, tutaj po raz pierwszy spotykam się z kursem, gdzie metodzie komunikacyjnej towarzyszy rzetelny komentarz gramatyczny. Na początku kursu sięgałem do niego dość często, teraz przekonałem się że materiał jest tak fantastycznie przygotowany, iż jest to zbędne. Faktycznie uczę się teraz czysto komunikacyjnie!
