Je me présente

I’m a native Polish speaker from Warsaw, a language educator and university teacher with many years of international teaching experience. I have lived and worked in different countries and have taught people of different ages, nationalities and language levels, so I know that learning a language is not only about grammar - it is about feeling comfortable enough to actually use it.

I currently live in Portugal and work in higher education, where I teach languages, communication and soft skills in an international environment. I speak Polish, English and Portuguese fluently, as well as conversational Spanish, so I also understand from personal experience what it means to learn, live and communicate in another language.

I particularly enjoy helping people become more confident speakers. Whether you need Polish for everyday life, work, travel, relationships with Polish family or friends, or simply because you would like to speak more naturally, I will be happy to help you find your own voice in Polish.

Compétentes et expérience

I hold a Master’s degree in English Studies with a specialization in translation and interpreting, and I am currently completing a PhD in language education, multilingualism and interculturality.

I have over 20 years of international teaching experience in Poland, China, Portugal and Germany. My work has included language teaching, university education, conversation courses, communication skills and the design of creative learning programs and workshops.

At university, I work with highly international groups, which has given me extensive experience in adapting my teaching to different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. My academic work also focuses on multilingualism and how people can use their existing languages and experiences as resources when learning and communicating in a new language.

Alongside English and communication courses, I have experience teaching Polish to foreigners and am particularly interested in conversational Polish for learners who want to become more fluent, confident and natural speakers.

Les méthodes d'enseignement

My lessons are primarily conversation-based and adapted to your interests, goals and level. I want you to use Polish rather than only study Polish.

We can talk about everyday life, culture, travel, work, current topics or anything you genuinely enjoy discussing. From these conversations, we naturally develop vocabulary, useful expressions, pronunciation and grammar. Instead of interrupting every time you make a mistake, I focus on helping you communicate confidently and then work with you on the areas that will make the biggest difference to your Polish.

I use authentic materials, real-life situations, questions, short texts, images and creative activities to keep lessons varied and meaningful. If you need more structured support with grammar or vocabulary, we can include it too.

Most importantly, my classes are a supportive space where mistakes are part of learning. You do not need to speak perfect Polish - you need opportunities to speak it.
