My teaching approach is based on collaboration and an individualised approach for each student. I want students to feel understood and valued, both in group and individual lessons. I want my support and motivation to be strong factors that push them to achieve more, faster.

I am Edyta, I live in Görlitz. As a Germanist and sociologist with many years of teaching experience in Polish, German and Lower Sorbian/Wendish, I benefit from my understanding of the culture and history of both countries. By exploring these aspects with the participants, I try to show them the richness and diversity of the cultures. I am delighted when participation in lessons leads to a greater interest in and understanding of other nations and their traditions.

* I encourage active listening and understanding.
* I give clear and understandable explanations and examples.
* I encourage learners to ask questions and actively participate in the lesson.
* I use regular repetition to consolidate acquired knowledge.
* I use a variety of learning methods and materials to meet the needs of different learning styles.
* I use authentic materials such as songs, films or recipes to arouse students' interest in the culture and everyday life in the foreign language.
* I give feedback, set learning goals together with the learners and support them in setting new goals in order to continuously develop and improve their skills.
