About me:

I have been a Polish language teacher in primary school for almost seven years. Over three years ago I discovered my passion for teaching Polish as a foreign language and since then I have been trying to develop in this direction.

Qualifications and experience:

In 2016, I graduated in Polish Philology, with a specialization in teaching. This year, I completed Postgraduate Qualification Studies for Teaching a Second Subject – Polish Culture and Polish as a Foreign Language at the University of Silesia in Katowice.
Since 2022, I have been teaching Polish as a foreign language to students from Ukraine. In 2024, I worked as a Polish lector at the Summer School of Polish Language, Literature and Culture in Cieszyn.

Methods of teaching

I especially like the methods that activate students and allow them to independently acquire knowledge. I often use educational games, quizzes, crosswords and other teaching aids.

Próbowałem uczyć się kilku języków online, ale szybko się zniechęcałem, bo albo kurs był za bardzo komunikacyjny, albo też za bardzo ‘tradycyjny’. Polskiego nie miałem możliwości uczyć się inaczej jak tylko online, więc bez przekonania, ale zarejestrowałem się na kurs na e-polish.eu. Ku mojemu zdziwieniu, tutaj po raz pierwszy spotykam się z kursem, gdzie metodzie komunikacyjnej towarzyszy rzetelny komentarz gramatyczny. Na początku kursu sięgałem do niego dość często, teraz przekonałem się że materiał jest tak fantastycznie przygotowany, iż jest to zbędne. Faktycznie uczę się teraz czysto komunikacyjnie!
