Über mich

Hi, my name is Ania. I currently live in Szczecin, though the past decade has taken me to many places—I studied in Warsaw and abroad, worked in Vilnius, and volunteered in Armenia. I’m an open-minded person with a love for laughter, and in my teaching, I strive to combine professionalism with empathy. I know firsthand how confusing it can feel to not fully understand what’s happening around you. That’s why I’m here to help you make Polish your comfort zone.

As a philologist and linguist, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, and I’m excited to take on this journey with you!

Ausbildung und Erfahrung

I hold degrees in Baltic Philology and Eastern European Studies from the University of Warsaw. During my time at university, I was actively involved in promoting Polish language and culture, working as an educator at the National Ethnographic Museum and participating in academic trips to countries like Moldova. After graduation, I began working at the Polish Institute in Vilnius and completed postgraduate studies in Teaching Polish as a Foreign Language, also at the University of Warsaw.

For the past two years, I’ve been teaching Polish to both children and adults, in both group settings and one-on-one. I’m fluent in English and Lithuanian, with conversational skills in Russian and Latvian.

Lehrmethoden

In my teaching, I always put the needs and preferences of my students first. I treat each lesson individually—focused not only on achieving great results but also on making learning fun. In our lessons, we’ll chat, tackle grammar together, learn new words and phrases, read fascinating texts, and listen to music and other audio. I also like to sneak in fun facts about Poland and its culture, so learning Polish feels like more than just a task; it becomes a fascinating journey into a new world. We’ll use more than just textbooks—we’ll incorporate videos, movies, songs, and articles to bring you closer to the true, vivid Polish language!
