Über mich

Hi! My name is Karolina. I live in Kraków, and soon I will be moving to Brazil, where I will teach Polish as a foreign language. I'm in one's element in an international environment!
I love teaching Polish because it allows me to share something truly special with my students—not only the language itself, but also Polish culture and everyday life in Poland.
You can prepare with me to state exam or living in Poland and communicate.
My lessons are interactive, engaging, and full of games, communicative activities, and real-life practice. I focus on helping students use the language actively, so you'll start speaking Polish from your very first lesson.

Ausbildung und Erfahrung

I hold a degree in Polish Philology with a teaching specialization, as well as a postgraduate qualification in Teaching Polish as a Foreign Language from the Jagiellonian University.

I currently teach beginner-level Polish courses (A0) at Glossa Language School, where I also contribute articles to the school's blog. My experience includes teaching children and teenagers in international schools, as well as working with adult learners from diverse cultural backgrounds.

I am a certified examiner for the State Certificate Examinations in Polish as a Foreign Language. In addition to teaching, I create educational materials for Polish language teachers and learners, many of which are available on Złoty Nauczyciel. I also run the Instagram account @polishunpacked, where I share practical tips and insights about learning Polish.

I am committed to continuous professional development and regularly participate in training courses, workshops, and conferences for teachers of Polish as a foreign language.

Lehrmethoden

I believe that every student is unique, which is why I tailor my teaching methods to each learner's needs, goals, and background. I use different learning paths for Slavic speakers and for students from other language backgrounds, helping everyone learn Polish in the most effective way possible.

All learning materials are included and remain available to you throughout the course. My lessons combine interactive games, engaging activities, listening practice, speaking tasks, and carefully selected grammar exercises. I strive to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable using Polish from the very beginning. One thing is certain—you won't be bored! See you in class!
