About me:

Hi, I'm Joanna and I'm huge fan of learning and teaching languages. I live in Poznań and work as language tutor (Polish, English and German).

Qualifications and experience:

I'm certificated Polish tutor for two years, I specialise in giving individual lessons. I have experience as examiner at State Certificate Examination in Polish as a Foreign Language. I was already preparing students for TELC exam.

Methods of teaching

The coursebook and workbook are necessary basis for the lessons, but I use also additional materials depending on students' needs. It's also very important for me to show students, how they can learn effectively between the lessons (through exercises, listening to the songs or watching movies and video clips).

Próbowałem uczyć się kilku języków online, ale szybko się zniechęcałem, bo albo kurs był za bardzo komunikacyjny, albo też za bardzo ‘tradycyjny’. Polskiego nie miałem możliwości uczyć się inaczej jak tylko online, więc bez przekonania, ale zarejestrowałem się na kurs na e-polish.eu. Ku mojemu zdziwieniu, tutaj po raz pierwszy spotykam się z kursem, gdzie metodzie komunikacyjnej towarzyszy rzetelny komentarz gramatyczny. Na początku kursu sięgałem do niego dość często, teraz przekonałem się że materiał jest tak fantastycznie przygotowany, iż jest to zbędne. Faktycznie uczę się teraz czysto komunikacyjnie!
