COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In this course, participants will find out the good news: effective teaching strategies can be easy to learn! With an appropriate mindset and tools, such as PBL (Project-Based Learning) and CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning), everyone can provide meaningful, useful learning experiences to students. PBL offers students an opportunity to be more engaged in learning, providing them with a tangible goal, in order to work on both content and competencies. CLIL is a methodology for designing lessons that integrate learning of subject-specific content and foreign language skills.
Course participants will explore these two meaningful learning approaches, PBL and CLIL, as well as the assumptions, ideas, and strategies that come with them. They will also have the chance to develop easy, clever, tailor-made solutions for their subjects and groups of learners, using PBL, CLIL, or a combination of the two Project-Based Language Learning (PBLL). PBLL provides opportunities for communication in the target language and for the application of accurate vocabulary while working on the specific contents (art, sciences, history, etc…). PBLL can improve students’ willingness to speak and the authenticity of their experience.

1) Monday – Defining CLIL and PBLL: Similarities and intersections and Reasons to use PBLL
2) Tuesday – Project-Based Learning (PBL)
3) Wednesday – PBL ideas and CLIL examples
4) Thursday – Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) ideas
5) Friday – Integrating PBL and CLIL > PBLL

INNE INFORMACJE:
- Kurs skierowany jest głównie do uczestników programu Erasmus+.
- W cenie kursu zawarte zazwyczaj dwie aktywności kulturalne, w tym wycieczka całodniowa w trakcie weekendu (zazwyczaj sobota).
- Certyfikat: Aby otrzymać certyfikat po kursie, wymagane jest minimum 80% obecności na zajęciach.
- Harmonogram i rozkład zajęć: To szkoła ustala plan zajęć. Zajęcia odbywają standardowo od poniedziałku do piątku w godzinach 9:00-14:00 lub 14:00-19:00.
- Program kursu: Powyżej przedstawiony przykładowy program zajęć jest orientacyjny i może różnić się w zależności od trenera, który będzie go przeprowadzał, jak również od sugestii i próśb uczestników co do treści, które chcieliby uwzględnić w trakcie kursu. Dokładny plan zajęć wraz z harmonogramem przesyłany jest do uczestników na około tydzień-dwa przed kursem. Mail wysyłany jest przez nauczyciela prowadzącego zajęcia.
UWAGA! Dla rezerwacji na mniej niż 8 tygodni od daty rozpoczęcia kursu, szkoła zagraniczna dolicza dodatkową opłatę za późną rezerwację w kwocie 60 EUR i dolicza ją do ceny kursu!
