COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to demonstrate how gastronomy and cooking can be valuable educational tools to teach a variety of subjects beyond culinary arts. Participants will learn how to integrate gastronomy into language, history, and cultural lessons to make learning more engaging and interactive. They will develop educational projects that involve the preparation and presentation of food, promoting active learning among students.

SAMPLE PROGRAMME:
1) Monday
- Welcome, orientation and briefing before sessions
- The importance of a balanced and healthy diet for the physical and mental well-being
- Practical healthy cooking ideas with quick and easy recipes
2) Tuesday
- General introduction to Spanish gastronomy
- Practical workshop: prepare a "gazpacho"
3) Wednesday
- Culinary traditions and how they can be used to enrich intercultural learning in the classroom
- Gastronomic events that celebrate the cultural diversity
4) Thursday
- The role of vegetables and fruits in a balanced and healthy diet
- Practical workshop: visit the central market of Cádiz and prepare a "pisto".
5) Friday
- How to use gastronomy and cooking as a didactic tool to teach various subjects, such as languages, history and culture.
- Educational projects that involve the preparation and presentation of food for active learning.

*** SATURDAY: One Full Day Cultural Visit included in Two-Week Course (optional for 1 week course)
*** SUNDAY: Free Day

6) Monday
- The meat and legumes in the Spanish diet.
- Practical workshop: prepare a "berza" from Cádiz.
7) Tuesday
- Overview of the national health system in Spain.
- Public and private health, advantages and disadvantages
8) Wednesday
- The role of fish and shellfish in a balanced and healthy diet.
- Practical workshop: prepare a dish of "chocos" with potatoes.
9) Thursday
- History and geography of Spain
- Everyday life in Spain: meal times, parties and events. What food is generally eaten at important events, e.g. weddings, festivals.
10) Friday
- Prepare a complete menu based on the recipes featured on this course

Próbowałem uczyć się kilku języków online, ale szybko się zniechęcałem, bo albo kurs był za bardzo komunikacyjny, albo też za bardzo ‘tradycyjny’. Polskiego nie miałem możliwości uczyć się inaczej jak tylko online, więc bez przekonania, ale zarejestrowałem się na kurs na e-polish.eu. Ku mojemu zdziwieniu, tutaj po raz pierwszy spotykam się z kursem, gdzie metodzie komunikacyjnej towarzyszy rzetelny komentarz gramatyczny. Na początku kursu sięgałem do niego dość często, teraz przekonałem się że materiał jest tak fantastycznie przygotowany, iż jest to zbędne. Faktycznie uczę się teraz czysto komunikacyjnie!
