COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course includes developing skills for working crossculturally, from initial contact to building lasting relationships, as well as developing a growth mindset, participants will practice mindfulness and critical thinking in a digital age.

TARGET GROUPS:
This course is for educational professionals who wish to:
- Improve their English
- Gain a new perspective on teaching
- Maximise their time and learning in Ireland

- Consider new ways of professional thinking

AIMS OF THE COURSE:
Objectives of this course include practising cross-cultural communication and collaboration, developing a growth mindset and learner autonomy, promoting critical thinking, managing digital distraction and fostering well-being through mindfulness, practicing real-life scenarios and learning to tailor language to the context. On completion of this course, participants will have developed as autonomous learners, and have greater confidence in their ability to use English in everyday situations with international students and colleagues.

- Tour of Cork City
2) Tuesday
- Developing a growth mindset and facilitating learner autonomy
- Peer-teaching and project work
- Visit to Crawford Art Gallery
3) Wednesday
- Fostering well-being through mindfulness and managind digital distraction
- Understanding digital literacy
- Outdoor Irish Dancing
4) Thursday
- Promoting critical thinking and reflective practice
- Experimentation and pushing boundaries
- Pint Night
5) Friday
- Scenario training and dealing with questions
- Feedback and reflection
- Visit to Jameson Whiskey Distillery

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The programme includes:
- 25 hours of tuition per week
- Use of all pedagogical material
- Maximum of 15 students per class
- Certificate at the end of course
- Social Programme
- Access to the E-Learning platform
- School Welcome Pack, Map and Notepad

IMPORTANT! - It's possible to book this course as a 6 day course (price - 520 EUR/week). The course then includes 1 full-day excursion on Saturday.

Gratuluję – świetnie zrealizowanego portalu! Bardzo podoba mi się sposób wprowadzania materiału i to wyłącznie przy użyciu języka polskiego. Na początku myślałam, że bez użycia angielskiego niczego się nie nauczę, ale to faktycznie działa! Oczywiście korzystam z komentarzy gramatycznych po angielsku, ale to raczej dla upewnienia się, czy wszystko dobrze rozumiem. Dialogów, nagrań oraz ćwiczeń opcjonalnych jest tak dużo, iż nie sposób czegoś nie zrozumieć.
