COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Our experienced academic team developed this course having in mind the ubiquitousness of English in all aspects of our lives. We are living in a world of constantly growing levels of globalisation, interconnectivity and cross-border business communications. English is the language of the internet and of media industry, particularly online with the highest percentage of content on the internet written in English. Our business English certificates take a developmental approach to learning and polishing your language skills in the business world. These are dynamic and practical courses with an emphasis on developing your communication language around key topics and skills that can be applied to a workplace.

THE PROGRAMME:
If you’re looking to improve your English in a formal setting during the summer, this course is for you. Our summer General English plus business certificate courses in Galway are comprised of two parts. You will study General English in the morning in international classes followed by 10 lessons in the afternoon targeting one of the following topics:
- Marketing
- Digital
- Entrepreneurship
- Social Media
- Leadership
The morning part will offer you General English lessons while the afternoon part will expose you to key business jargon used in the world of marketing, digital, entrepreneurship, leadership or social media. General English courses are our most popular programmes and can help you achieve real fluency and prepare you for further study or a successful career. The business element of the course will cover some of the business topics mentioned above in a more informal setting where the classroom becomes an excellent place to engage in conversations. Students expand their business-related vocabulary and skills in English while at the same time improving overall grammatical accuracy and communicative competence.

In the afternoon business English lesson, you are exposed to a great number of opportunities to practise your business English.
