COURSE DESCRIPTION:
English for the Educational Workplace is an intensive professional training course designed for staff in the educational sector. Participants will master day-to-day interactions in English, gaining the confidence to communicate effectively with peers, students, managers, and external stakeholders. The course includes practical workshops, role-plays, and applied exercises to develop a range of communicative skills, improve language usage, and acquire the functional vocabulary needed for direct interactions. Topics covered include functional language for the educational workplace, group discussions, individual tutorials, meetings with students, networking, presentation skills, email correspondence, and negotiation.

1) Monday
- Course outline and objectives, needs analysis and review
- Clean English: What is it and why is it important?
2) Tuesday
- Using the phone in English
- Role-play: Making calls, Receiving calls, Dealing with misunderstandings
- Classroom language: Instructions, Feedback, Checking understanding
- Workshop: Grading spoken and written language
3) Wednesday
- Formal and informal professional written communication
- Writing workshop: Practice, Review, Feedback
4) Thursday
- Leading and participating in meetings
- Delivering and responding to presentations in English
- Using messaging platforms: Slack/Telegram/WhatsApp/Teams
5) Friday
- Giving feedback in English
- Role-play: Giving feedback in different contexts
SCHEDULE
25 hours - Business English Group Classes:
- 20 hours Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:15 (includes weekly workplace workshop)
- Additional 5 hours in small group sessions on Tuesday and Thursday
* A minimum of six students is required to run this course.

Polskiego nie miałem możliwości uczyć się inaczej jak tylko online, więc bez przekonania, ale zarejestrowałem się na kurs na e-polish.eu. Ku mojemu zdziwieniu, tutaj po raz pierwszy spotykam się z kursem, gdzie metodzie komunikacyjnej towarzyszy rzetelny komentarz gramatyczny. Na początku kursu sięgałem do niego dość często, teraz przekonałem się że materiał jest tak fantastycznie przygotowany, iż jest to zbędne. Faktycznie uczę się teraz czysto komunikacyjnie!
