COURSE SUMMARY:
The course is designed to equip non-native English speakers with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate and thrive in diverse cultural environments. Over five days, participants will delve into the fundamentals of intercultural communication, cultural awareness, verbal and non-verbal communication, and strategies to overcome intercultural barriers. The course combines language learning with practical content, ensuring participants can effectively communicate and collaborate in multicultural workplaces.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
Participants attending this course must have a minimum English level of B1 (Pre-Intermediate or higher).

SAMPLE PROGRAMME:
1) Monday - Introduction to Intercultural Communication
- Content Objectives: Understand the basic concepts of intercultural communication; Identify the importance of intercultural communication in the workplace.
- Language Objectives: Learn and use vocabulary related to intercultural communication (e.g., culture, communication, diversity); Practice simple present tense to describe cultural practices.
2) Tuesday - Cultural Awareness
- Content Objectives: Explore different cultural norms and values; Understand the concept of cultural awareness.
- Language Objectives: Use comparative and superlative forms to compare cultural norms; Practice listening skills through video content; Simulate a conversation between people from different cultures.
3) Wednesday - Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication
- Content Objectives: Understand the differences between verbal and non-verbal communication; Learn how to interpret non-verbal cues in different cultures.
- Language Objectives: Practice using the past simple tense to describe past interactions; Enhance reading skills with texts on communication styles; Analyze a real-world example of miscommunication.
4) Thursday - Overcoming Intercultural Barriers
- Content Objectives: Discuss common barriers to intercultural communication; Learn strategies to overcome these barriers.
- Language Objectives: Use modal verbs to discuss possibilities and obligations; Develop speaking skills through problemsolving activities.
5) Friday - Intercultural Communication in Practice and Course Review
- Content Objectives: Apply intercultural communication skills in practical situations; Review key concepts learned during the course.
- Language Objectives: Use future tense to discuss plans for improving intercultural communication; Practice summarizing information; Write plans for applying
intercultural communication skills.

- Lessons per week: 30 lessons/week (20 Presentation + 10 Workshop)
- Lesson duration: 1 lesson = 45 minutes
- Minimum age: 21+

Uczyłem się przy pomocy programów komputerowych angielskiego, niemieckiego i hiszpańskiego i nie spodziewałbym się, iż powstanie program do nauki języka polskiego w wielu kwestiach przewyższający tamte programy. Choć uczę się dopiero od miesiąca jestem pewny, że wkrótce będę mówił po polsku!
