COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The course will accompany the participants to discover the astonishing cultural heritage in the city of Rome, which will be taken as an example to explain the principles of Cultural Heritage Education (CHE). This approach aims to incorporate heritage education more effectively in school curricula in order to raise awareness of common history and values among the younger generations and strengthen the sense of belonging to a shared European cultural and political space.
In this course students will strengthen their visual and critical thinking skills, delving into a broader range of knowledge about the protection and valorization of cultural heritage to seek a European identity that ties itself to common and tangible roots. The course provides a guided tour in the city center that emphasizes the stunning monuments such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the grandiose archaeological area of Fori Imperiali. The course program offers entrance to various museums and/or the most beautiful churches which may vary depending on the exhibitions open and the museums’ offerings.
SAMPLE SCHEDULE:
1) Monday - Introduction to cultural heritage education
2)Tuesday - The cultural heritage of Baroque Rome with the visit to Palazzo Barberini or other museums
3) Wednesday - Exploring ancient Rome artworks and architecture with the guided tour to discover the secrets of the Colosseum, Fori Imperiali, Capitolium Hill, and Pantheon
4) Thursday - The Cultural Heritage Digitization
5) Friday - The modern cultural heritage of Rome with the cultural activity

INNE INFORMACJE:
- Kurs skierowany jest głównie do uczestników programu Erasmus+.
- W cenie kursu zawarte zazwyczaj aktywności kulturalne, w tym wycieczka całodniowa w trakcie weekendu (zazwyczaj sobota).
- Certyfikat: Aby otrzymać certyfikat po kursie, wymagane jest minimum 80% obecności na zajęciach.
- Harmonogram i rozkład zajęć: To szkoła ustala plan zajęć. Zajęcia odbywają standardowo od poniedziałku do piątku w godzinach 9:00-14:00 lub 14:00-19:00.
- Program kursu: Powyżej przedstawiony przykładowy program zajęć jest orientacyjny i może różnić się w zależności od trenera, który będzie go przeprowadzał, jak również od sugestii i próśb uczestników co do treści, które chcieliby uwzględnić w trakcie kursu. Dokładny plan zajęć wraz z harmonogramem przesyłany jest do uczestników na około tydzień-dwa przed kursem. Mail wysyłany jest przez nauczyciela prowadzącego zajęcia.
UWAGA! Dla rezerwacji na mniej niż 8 tygodni od daty rozpoczęcia kursu, szkoła zagraniczna dolicza dodatkową opłatę za późną rezerwację w kwocie 60 EUR i dolicza ją do ceny kursu!
