COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will explain the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence in education and empower teachers to use basic AI tools, such as ChatGPT, to enhance teaching and learning. The participants will learn how to use AI tools to decrease the workload but at the same time how to be creative and actively engage students following the student-centred pedagogy concept. During the course participants will learn to navigate the proposed AI tools, to share and discuss their ideas, and to create their own lesson materials. Furthermore, participants will be supported to innovate and create original tasks that will allow students to develop critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills with the use of AI. Moreover, the AI tools presented in this course will help teachers with lesson planning, differentiating teaching materials, and formative and summative assessment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Level of language: min. B1.
- Computer proficiency: min. Basic.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
During this course, participants will do practical tasks which include the use of various AI tools. The list of tools will be regularly updated according to innovation and accessibility for schools. The list includes ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Padlet, Canva, Google Earth, Twee, Quizalize, and others. If you want to include any specific tool, please provide this information at least two months before the start of the course.

2) Tuesday - AI all around us (Types of AI; use of AI in a clasroom)
3) Wednesday - ChatGPT and other Generative AI tools
4) Thursday - AI for students’ engagement
5) Friday - AI and evaluation – linking outcomes and assessment

INNE INFORMACJE:
- Kurs skierowany jest głównie do uczestników programu Erasmus+.
- W cenie kursu zawarte zazwyczaj aktywności kulturalne, w tym wycieczka całodniowa w trakcie weekendu (zazwyczaj sobota).
- Certyfikat: Aby otrzymać certyfikat po kursie, wymagane jest minimum 80% obecności na zajęciach.
- Harmonogram i rozkład zajęć: To szkoła ustala plan zajęć. Zajęcia odbywają standardowo od poniedziałku do piątku w godzinach 9:00-14:00 lub 14:00-19:00.
- Program kursu: Powyżej przedstawiony przykładowy program zajęć jest orientacyjny i może różnić się w zależności od trenera, który będzie go przeprowadzał, jak również od sugestii i próśb uczestników co do treści, które chcieliby uwzględnić w trakcie kursu. Dokładny plan zajęć wraz z harmonogramem przesyłany jest do uczestników na około tydzień-dwa przed kursem. Mail wysyłany jest przez nauczyciela prowadzącego zajęcia.
