Popular informal words in Polish
Hi, I would like to ask about informal words in the Polish language. I know that instead of “ok” could be “ spoko”. Do you know any more?

you can frequently hear :
plastik - which is used for a girl with a full make-up so she looks unnaturally and she's frequently stupid.
dres - for a hooligan (because they usually wear a tracksuit)
trawka - for marihuana
jestem padnięty/a - i'm completely tired (so i've felt down - literally)
oblać (exam) - not to pass an exam
muszę spadać - I have to go
spadaj! - go away!
puścić dzwonek - telephone sb but in order not to talk with him (dzwonek in this case means a phone tune )
odlać się - pee (especially for a men, i haven't heared women say this way)
załatwić się - use the toilet
kuć / zakuwać - study a lot, cram

pałaszować is a funny term used not so frequently

Hi,

For me "babsztyl" sounds the funniest (offensive about an old, annoying lady, who gets on your nerves).

Zdecydowałem się uczyć polskiego przy pomocy e-polish.eu nie bez wątpliwości. Teraz jednak – po dwóch miesiącach nauki – przyznaję była to dobra decyzja. Mając ograniczony czas na naukę program ten daje mi pełną elastyczność. Polecam wszystkim zainteresowanym językiem polskim!
