Uncertain translations in Powtórka Słowek
siarhei.k 2022-01-10 07:46 | Uncertain translations in Powtórka Słowek Hi Glossa There are quite many uncertain translations in Powtórka Słowek, e.g.: 1) there are two translations for 'you' - 'ty' or 'wy', 2) 'where are you from' is translated as 'skąd pani jest' or 'skąd pan jest' or 'skąd jesteś', 3) 'what' - 'jaki', 'jaka', etc. It is impossible to guess which one to use. |

hans.student 2022-01-11 08:18 | Dear Siarhei.k thank you for your message. The reason why there are sometimes more than one translation is because the words/expressions are in context with the lessons from ''POLSKI krok po kroku'' books/e-coursebooks. I can advise that if you know one of the given forms then you should give yourself a good rating. Regards Sylwia Ryczkowska-Blasi sylwia.ryczkowska-blasi@glossa.pl |
siarhei.k 2022-01-12 07:51 | It is really inconvenient when I'm asked the translation for 'you' and should guess, if it is 'ty' or 'wy'. One more case: my name is - nazywać się. Should be 'nazywam się'. In my opinion all of these cases can be easily fixed, e.g.: you (plural), you (singular), etc. |
