About me:
I have been teaching Polish for more than 4 years. During this time, I have conducted over 1800+ hours of lessons and received more than 50 positive reviews from my students.
I work both with beginners and with those who already have a foundation. I help:
• understand grammar,
• improve pronunciation and reduce accent,
• expand vocabulary (from everyday to professional topics),
• learn to speak fluently.
My lessons are diverse: from grammar and speaking practice to analyzing songs, YouTube videos, or popular Polish TV shows. Each student receives an individual Google Docs notebook with all new words and materials. I also have a large base of homework and exercises to improve writing, speaking, and grammar.
Most of my students are from Slavic countries (Belarus, Ukraine, Russia). I explain Polish grammar through comparisons with Russian and Ukrainian, which helps students learn faster thanks to the similarities between the languages.
Qualifications and experience:
Over 4 years of experience teaching Polish online. More than 1800+ teaching hours and over 50 positive student reviews. I have worked with Russian-speaking students and learners from Europe. I specialize in teaching from scratch, grammar, conversation practice, as well as preparation for the Polish Card and certified Polish language exams (B1, B2).
Methods of teaching
I use different methods – traditional textbooks (“Krok po kroku”, “Hurra po polsku”) as well as online materials. Besides grammar, we listen to songs, analyze their lyrics, and discuss the emotions and ideas of the author. We also watch short documentaries and journalistic videos (on politics, science, etc.).
Students practice listening, writing, and reading, but I put the main focus on speaking. As homework, my students often write short stories or record voice messages, and I give detailed feedback on pronunciation, stress, and language accuracy.
