About me:

"How many languages you speak so many times you are human". It works! Goethe was right :) That's why I myself like to learn foreign languages (German, English, Italian) and enjoy teaching them (German and Polish as foreign languages). I love getting to know people - foreigners learning Polish are extreme sports enthusiasts for me, because let's admit it, Polish is a roller coaster - who likes it - hand up! I like to swim, sail, read, laugh with friends, always have a pet nearby to stroke - when it comes to dog language, I speak it quite efficiently, for that my feline is at least C1 :)

Qualifications and experience:

I graduated in Germanic philology from Jagiellonian University and completed postgraduate studies in teaching Polish as a foreign language at the Pedagogical University. I have been a German teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow for 27 years, and in 2015 I also started teaching Polish as a foreign language at my university. And it was bingo! Meeting students from Europe and beyond, with their energy, curiosity, interests, talents was and still is a fantastic experience and a source of joy and satisfaction

Methods of teaching

I will admit that my element is stationary classes, then I sing, dance and tap dance, the monitor severely limits my expression. Then I look for other ways to communicate, such exercises that describe a situation in a clear and simple way. Laughter is a good helper, I like it when students laugh, I try very hard to make the lessons accompanied by good emotions - then everything becomes simpler. For me, the teaching process is a picture of climbing - you have to get a little tired, sometimes it is steep, sometimes someone stumbles over a grammar stone (I will hold it! I will explain!), but the higher you go, the view becomes more and more beautiful, the satisfaction becomes greater and greater :)
