Nouns in plural
Is that true that some of nouns in polish grammar are only in plural? Can you write for me few examples?

That is true, for example: scissors, doors, trausers, violin. I don't remember more right now, but if I will find new words I will put them here.

The nouns which can be only plural are called "pluralia tantum", e.g sanki - sledge, ludzie - people, majtki - panties, wrota - gate, ferie - winter holidays, chrzciny - baptism, Andrzejki - St Andrew's day, grabie - rake, but also many names of towns or mountain ranges e.g. Katowice, Ateny, Helsinki, Tatry, Beskidy etc.
