If you are 10-15 years old and just starting to learn Polish or you only know the basics, “POLSKI krok po kroku – junior” (POLISH step by step – junior) is the right course for you. Interesting, motivating lessons full of humour strike the right balance between grammar, vocabulary and improving pronunciation and communication skills. From the very first lesson, Polish will be the only language that you hear and use. This will help you to start speaking and thinking only in Polish.
What will you learn?
When you have finished the course you will be able to:
- communicate in typical, simple situations
- formulate simple, consistent oral and written statements on familiar or interesting topics
- describe experiences, events, plans and dreams and briefly justify and explain your views and objectives
- deal with most situations related to travelling in Poland
Role-play course format
Maja, Adam and Diego go to an international school. Their friends come from all over the world. Of course they don’t only meet for lessons – after school they study, do various projects, go to the cinema or roller-skating. They also go on trips around Poland... They are in touch all the time on Facebook and Snapchat. You’re sure to make friends with them quickly, and by spending time with them, you’ll soon learn Polish – without even noticing it!
Course level
The course addresses vocabulary and grammar issues for level A1.
Course content
The course has 10 chapters, each of which contains: four lessons, a revision section and “PLUS for the ambitious” with more challenging materials. Depending on the student, the study time is 60 to 80 hours.
